ACG × CSW — Mountain Anthropology
Everyday runners, ten weeks of preparation, and the lives around the training plan.

- Purpose
- Observe how recreational runners bring professional training into everyday life.
- When and where
- Written features published in July–August 2026; ACTD training, daily life and mountain settings.
- CSW’s role
- CSW worked as a field observer, conducting interviews, following training, filming and editing.
- Record and outcomes
- The archive contains five written features and seven film entries, including four runners’ stories, an inspiration list, previews and a community hike.
The project begins with individuals rather than finishing times. Work, family and movement shape each runner’s experience. Interviews and observation follow those relationships across the ten-week programme, with written stories and films offering complementary records.
